Sunset Beach

The next day, Debbie said, "We have to take her to Sunset Beach!" So off we went.


Beautiful waves and surfers galore. Jeanne almost got enrolled in the surfing contest, but forgot her board.

Also stopped at the Pali Point to look over the windward side of the island. Did I mention windward side? This is where one of the last big battles was fought by King Kamehameha to unite the islands. It was said that some warriors were pushed off the edge and blown back up.
